King Power Gold Cup Semi Finals Decided

La Indiana, La Bamba, El Remanso & RH Polo through

Over the weekend, play continued in The King Power Gold Cup at Cowdray Park Polo Club in West Sussex with all of the teams looking to get that bit closer to the elusive Final, scheduled for Sunday 22 July. This year’s Quarter Finals were sponsored by the Embassy of Hungary alongside the Hungarian Tourism Agency.

In the first match of the weekend, Cartier Queen’s Cup finalists, Park Place took on Ben Soleimani’s RH Polo. The match was a close-fought affair, but RH Polo took home the win 15-11. El Remanso quickly followed suit, with a 16-11 win against 22 goal newbies Alfi Investments, with La Bamba de Areco securing their Semi Final spot, 10-8, against Talandracas, swiftly after. La Indiana ended the weekend’s proceedings, with a 13-8 victory over Bob Jornayvaz’s Valiente.
La Indiana will now take on El Remanso on Wednesday 18 July at midday, vying to secure the coveted Final spot, followed by RH Polo vs La Bamba de Areco at 4pm. For more information about The King Power Gold Cup, please click here.
