The UK high goal season has officially begun! The first of the UK’s 22 goal tournaments, The Prince of Wales Trophy, got underway at The Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club on Wednesday 8 May with the first match of the tournament played between title holders Monterosso and Dubai. This year’s tournament sees seven teams vying for the impressive trophy, designed by Theo Fennell, which has been competed for since 1986. The first match of the tournament saw Dubai defeat 2018 Prince of Wales Trophy champions, Monterosso by just one goal, with a narrow 15-14 win. The action continues today at 2pm with VS King Power facing Marchfield and will be live streamed for those not lucky enough to be at the Berkshire to watch the match.
