Over the last week, five teams have been competing for their spot in the coveted Warwickshire Cup Final, due to take place tomorrow at 2.30pm at Cirencester Park Polo Club. Both Emlor and Lovelocks have come out the strongest teams, with Spencer McCarthy’s team beginning their tournament with a 10-9 win against Monterosso on 14 June. Lovelocks followed suit, with an 11-8 initial win against rivals Marchfield on 17 June following with a 13-10 win against Emlor Black, to secure their Final position. The Warwickshire Cup Final will form part of The Cotswold International Polo Day at Cirencester Park Polo Club, a day which is set to begin with a Polo150 Charity Match between a PoloAfrica team and the HACKETT Army team at 12.30pm. Following that, the high goal masters will take to the field for The Warwickshire Cup Final, and finally some of the world’s best female players will take to the Ivy Lodge Ground for The Ladies International for The Diamond Jubilee Trophy at 4.30pm. Following all the polo excitement, guests can dance the night away at the Cotswold International Polo Day After Party, organised by the party legend Royston Prisk, with tickets available in advance for £10 or on the door for £15.
