Sat 14th Nov 2020Polo Times November IssueLatest issue out this week!
While the British summer season has come to an end and the upcoming arena season has yet to begin (thanks Boris and Lockdown 2.0), the polo torch has been passed back to Argentina for their 2020/21 season which is currently underway (albeit slightly later than planned) with The Tortugas Open Final being played tomorrow. We had originally hoped to include the Final of The Tortugas Open in this November issue of Polo Times, but delays due to Covid-19 meant that we couldn’t wait that long – but fear not, this issue is still packed full of all your favourites. Features this issue include an interview with English grassroots professional Tommy Severn, an in depth English Arena Focus where we spotlight those clubs who will be taking part in the Hurlingham Polo Association’s 2020/21 Winter Victor/Victrix Ludorum Series, plus of course our Christmas Gift Guide – the perfect place to start feeling festive. The 2020 Victor/Victrix Ludorum Series saw some excellent polo being played across the country and our season round-up looks back at the final tournaments of the season and of course the overall results. The Polo Times University Focus spotlights the talent of those who enjoy youth polo whatever the weather and this issue is no different, as we focus on Oxford University Polo Club. As always, our Knowledge pages are full to the rafters with interesting tips for riding, nutrition, health and foraging; we also welcome back Jason Warren as a contributor who in this issue looks at enjoyment and its effect on your performance. Rounding off this issue is Pedro Harrison in Passions, with his love of golf, horses and family. With Christmas just around the corner, why not click here to treat a friend or family member to a Polo Times subscription from just £55! |
