IFZA Silver Cup Semi Finals on Tuesday

Habtoor vs Dubai Wolves by CAFU & UAE Polo vs Bangash

On Saturday 30 January, the last of The IFZA Silver Cup qualifying matches concluded with a win for UAE Polo and Habtoor Polo at Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club, in Dubai. 
The first match of the day saw UAE Polo vs Zedan with UAE Polo’s Lucas Monteverde opening the scoring with a fast goal, swiftly followed by another from team patron HH Sheikha Maitha. UAE Polo dominated the match, with Zedan unable to even make it onto the scoreboard until the third chukka, when they did find the goalposts UAE Polo locked down their offensive efforts and ran out the winners 12½-5 with Tomas Panelo the top goal scorer with 7 goals. 
The second match of the day saw home teams Habtoor Polo vs Dubai Wolves by CAFU. Three consecutive goals from Alejandro Muzzio saw Dubai Wolves take an early lead, but Habtoor Polo were quick to catch up and level the scores to 3-3 at the end of the third chukka. Habtoor Polo pulled ahead in the latter stages of the match and final goals from Mohammed Al Habtoor and Felix Esain sealed the win for Habtoor Polo at 11 goals to 6.
With these results, The IFZA Silver Cup Semi Finals will be between Habtoor vs Dubai Wolves by CAFU and UAE Polo vs Bangash tomorrow, Tuesday 2 February. You can watch the match highlights here from Saturday’s action here
