Tue 21st Sep 2021Engel & Völkers French Open FinalsWins for La Magdeleine & Polo Park Zürich
Sunday 19 September, saw a day of Finals at Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly with both The Engel & Völkers French Open as well as the French Women’s Open. The Engel & Völkers French Open finalists were La Magdeleine and Kazak, who on paper were two evenly matched teams – Kazak were unbeaten and La Magdeleine had won all but one of their matches. However, on the day La Magdeleine, assisted by Most Valuable Player Facundo F.Llorente, dominated from the outset, outscoring Kazak 4-1 in a fast-paced first chukka and by the end of the match had streaked ahead to secure a 12-5 win. Meanwhile, The French Women’s Open result was less of a surprise, as Polo Park Zürich – who had dominated the tournament from start to finish – lifted the trophy with an 11-3 win against DS Automobile-DS Store Saint Maximin.
