This Sunday, 18 August, Spain and Argentina will go head-to-head in a new International Test Match for The Argentine Embassy Cup sponsored by La Martina, which will be played at Ayala Polo Club in Sotogrande at 2pm (local time).
This is Argentina’s second international match in a month, having won The Coronation Cup against England on Saturday 27 July at Guards Polo Club. The Argentine team will once again be made up of two pairs of brothers, with 2024 Coronation Cup winners Rufino (14-years-old) and Beltrán Laulhé (17-years-old) who will play alongside Lorenzo (16-years-old) and Pedro Chavanne (14-years-old) with Lolo Castagnola as team coach. The Spanish team will include Pascual Sáinz de Vicuña, the best Spanish player of recent times as well as current FIP World Polo Champions Pelayo Berazadi and Luis Domecq alongside young Spaniard Roberto Iturrioz. They will be coached by Benjamin Araya.
