Scone and La Hache Pax Assistance secured their places in the Final of The 59th Jockey Club for The Thai Polo Open on Wednesday 18 September, after beating Black Hound and Dubai La Natividad in their respective Semi-Final matches. The first match was played at the AAP Alfredo Lalor in Pilar, with 2022 and 2023 title winners Scone defeating Black Hound 12-9, having dominated the match. The second Semi Final was played at the Jockey Club's San Isidro Headquarters between Dubai La Natividad and La Hache Pax Assistance. La Hache, under the guidance of Hilario Ulloa, fought hard but Rashi Albwardy’s Dubai La Natividad bounced back in the fourth chukka to close the gap from 3-9 to 8-10. Despite outscoring La Hache 2-1 in the last chukka but it was not enough to close the gap and La Hache narrowly secured the win, 11-10, and with it their place in the Final. The Final is scheduled to be played on Saturday 21 September at the Jockey Club in San Isidro. The 59th.
