The 23 – 24 November saw a busy few days of polo in Palermo with four qualifying matches for The 131st HSBC Argentine Open. On Saturday 23 November the scores for both matches were scored at 15-10 each; a battle between the Ulloa family’s organisations saw La Hache beat La Hache Cria & Polo 15-10 while the defending champions La Natividad’s unbeaten streak continued with a 15-10 win against Indios Chapaleufu. This means that La Hache and La Natividad are the top two teams from Zone A will face each other on Friday 29 November for a place in the Final. On Sunday 24 November, Ellerstina UAE Yellow Rose and La Dolfina Saudi beat Cria La Dolfina (15-9) and La Ensenada respectively (20-7) to qualify as the top two teams from Zone B. These results mean that this weekend, Sunday 1 December, La Hache will play La Natividad and La Dolfina Saudi will play Ellerstina UAE Yellow Rose for a prestigious spot in the 131st Argentine Open Final. La Ensenada’s loss against La Dolfina Saudi on Sunday 24 November means that they will now play against La Zeta Kazak on Sunday to maintain their place in the Triple Crown 2025.
