Following the culmination of the 2024 Argentine Triple Crown in December, there has been a lot of movement amongst the teams for the 2025 tournament. Unlike last season, 2025 will see only one 40 goal line-up while four teams will have a 10 goal player in their line-ups. The much-anticipated joining of forces between Adolfo and Poroto Cambiaso with Jeta and Barto Castagnola (who won the 2024 Argentine Open with La Natividad) will be the only 40 goal team in this year’s addition. Meanwhile Facundo Pieres will once again be wearing the Ellerstina shirt; La Hache are combining forces with La Irenita and a brand new line-up for El Overo Z7 UAE. Meanwhile, Uruguay-born legend David ‘Pelón’ Stirling, has announced his retirement from the Argentine Triple Crown after competing in 15 consecutive Finals. Stirling has won all three Triple Crown tournament with 10 Argentine Opens, eight Hurlingham Opens and six Tortugas Opens as well as three consecutive Triple Crown titles with La Dolfina in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
