Tue 14th Jan 2025England vs New Zealand Internationals Test Matches in North & South Islands
An England team of Captain Jimbo Fewster (5), Will Harper (5), Ben Malasomma (3) and Charlotte Pykett (1) (with Ollie Jones (3) as Reserve) will be competing against an as of yet undisclosed New Zealand team in two International Test Matches in New Zealand. The first match will be played on Friday 31 January at Mystery Creek Polo Club on New Zealand’s North Island, as part of Mystery Creek Polo Week, followed by a second match on Thursday 6 February at Glenmark Polo on the South Island. In 2023 and 2024, Charlotte Pykett secure wins in England’s women’s internationals against the USA and Argentina. Will Harper returns to the England team following his exceptional performance in the Young England vs Young Argentina clash, where he secured victory for The Whitbread Tankard on International Day at Guards in 2024. Meanwhile, Ben Malasomma has previously represented Young England and Captain Jimbo Fewster made his senior England debut in 2024, facing New Zealand in a hard-fought contest for the coveted Golden Jubilee Trophy at Beaufort Polo Club. Although England narrowly missed out on a win, Fewster is set to return with unfinished business. | | Other top stories
