Tue 21st Jan 2025Three Days to Go Until Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz Six teams competing in 40th anniversary event
Over Friday 24 – Sunday 26 January, the world-famous alpine resort will host the 40th anniversary of The Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz. This unique polo tournament is played upon the frozen surface of Lake St. Moritz, which is currently measuring at 40cm thick with cold temperatures forecast through the event which will help ensure the optimal playing surface. As always entry to the polo grounds is free, with over 25,000 spectators expected over the three days. This year will also see the convergence of two top events, as The Cross-Country World Cup (a 20km freestyle race) will begin at the snow polo grounds next door to the VIP tent. The VIP tent is already sold out for Saturday and Sunday, as is the Gala at Badrutt's Palace. A few tickets are still available for Friday. The Perrier-Jouët Chukker Club tickets, which include a seat in the grandstand with a warm blanket, a glass of Champagne and canapés are also proving popular. Seats in this category are still available on Friday and Sunday. Tickets can be purchased directly here. Polo Times will be covering all the action throughout the tournament as Official Media Partners and a full report will be included in the March issue of Polo Times – click here to subscribe today!
