Nicholas and Richenda Hine – Publishers
Hine Marketing was founded in 1992 by Nicholas and Richenda Hine. The family has been closely linked to polo since the early 1970's with three generations of polo players. Through this interest, the Company has grown to become the most respected publisher of polo media in the UK, with numerous Polo Club Yearbooks, The Hurlingham Polo Association titles and the Audi International Series of magazines forming part of the Hine stable of polo publications. In addition, the Audi Polo Awards were conceptualised and launched by Hine Marketing in 2006, with The Polo Magazine launching in 2008.
In addition to its polo division, Hine Marketing publish five 84-100 page car-related magazines for the: Aston Martin Owners Club; Bentley Drivers Club; BMW Car Club; MG Car Club and Mercedes-Benz Club. A combined total of 600,000+ copies a year.
Polo Times was launched in 1995 by Margie Brett, who at the time, realised that there was a need for better information and news about polo. It is now firmly established as the 'must-have' read for all polo enthusiasts. Through the acquisition of Polo Times in 2013, Hine Marketing's highly experienced publishing team are delighted to deliver Polo Times, for the polo purists.
