Just seven days into the new year and the doom and gloom continues, as yesterday Thursday 7 January, the Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA) made their latest Covid-19 Update following the British government’s decision to place England into a National lockdown until further notice. The HPA’s Covid-19 Update outlined the rules to be followed by all clubs and venues where polo is played:

• Riding arenas can only be used by those whose horses are stabled on site.
• Up to 5 individuals may exercise their horses in an arena but must not interact with one another.
