Wed 16th Oct 2024 Aurora Polo Claim XV La Aguada Ladies Cup 14-10 win against 90210 Polo Team On Tuesday 15 October, Aurora Polo beat 90210 Polo Team 14-10 in The XV La Aguada Ladies Cup at La Aguada Polo Club in Open Door, Argentina.  The tournament kicked off the 2024 Spring Season at the Novillo Astrada family Club and saw six ladies teams up to 30 goals take part in two leagues. The XV La Aguada Ladies Cup is the first stage of the ladies polo circuit, Ladies Grand Series, hosted by the Argentine Association of Polo (AAP).    Both finalists had already met in the qualifying stages of the tournament, 90210 Polo Team received four goals on handicap, but Aurora Polo managed to slowly close that gap and by half-time 90210 Polo were ahead 8 goals to 4. Aurora Polo bounced back in the fourth chukka and tied the scores at 9-9, with a significant contribution from Hope Arellano who was later named Most Valuable Player.    Hope went on to produce enough goals for Aurora Polo to take their first lead in the fifth chukka, 11-10 and went on to dominate the remainder of the match as they settled into their stride and claimed the title with a convincing 14-10 win.  The XV La Aguada Ladies Cup Final Teams: Aurora Polo (30): Izzy Brockett (2), Hazel Jackson (9), Hope Arellano (10) & Candelaria Fernández Araujo (9)  90210 Polo Team (26): Sarah Siegel-Magness (1), Cata Lavinia (8), Lia Salvo (9) & Mia Cambiaso (8)    Photograph: Aurora Polo, winners of The XV La Aguada Ladies Cup. By Adrián Melo
