Polo Times Out This Week!
Donít miss out on this packed pre-season issue
With over 31 million people in the UK having received at least one dose of Coronavirus vaccine and the Hurlingham Polo Association having confirmed the 2021 Victor Ludorum dates, while our fingers and toes are still crossed, it does look like the 2021 English polo season will go ahead – hurrah!
While we are still waiting for Finals to be played in the UK so we can report on them in Polo Times, there is plenty of action from across the globe which sees this issue’s Reports pages overflowing with Finals – from Pakistan, to New Zealand and the USA, there is plenty to satiate your ‘polo fix’ in our April issue.
In this issue, we add a new contributor to our stable, equine chiropractor Matt Kenna, whose first article takes us back to basics on how to get the best out of our polo ponies; as always and thanks to our dedicated contributors, this issue’s Knowledge pages have something for everyone: covering crib biting with Lorna Edgar; maximising mental and physical energy with Jason Warren; facial injuries with Dr Andreas Kruger aka The Polodoc; re-thinking your stopping style with Rege Ludwig; pre-season training to reduce mid-season injuries with India Parker-Smith, plus a look at Hallmarq’s revolutionary standing MRI systems.
All of this and much more. Learn what makes professional umpire and polo player, Jason Dixon tick in this month’s Passions, plus hear from polo newcomer, Dolores Onetto in 5 Minutes With, as well as our usual pages covering News, Club Focus, Gossip and What’s On – what’s not to like! Click here
