The Trippetts Challenge Cup tournament was established in 2007 by George and Clare Milford Haven in memory of Clare’s eldest son, James Wentworth-Stanley. This tournament serves as a warm-up for The Cartier Queen's Cup and is exclusively open to high-goal home teams. Jonathan Rothermere’s Ferne Park began the tournament with a narrow win against White Crane and they followed this up with a convincing 10-5 win against Talandracas to reach the Final. They will be joined in the Final by 2023 Cowdray Gold Cup champions, UAE Polo who also beat Talandracas in the qualifying rounds as well as beating the 2023 Trippetts Challenge Cup winners, La Magdeleine. Due to bad weather the Final was postponed to today, Monday 20 May.
