With 19 22 goal teams taking part, the relentless pace of The Cartier Queen’s Cup continued over Friday 31 May – Sunday 2 June with eight matches played over the three days. On Friday 31 May King Power beat Ferne Park 11-8, La Dolfina Great Oaks beat Marqués de Riscal 12-7 and Dubai convincingly won 13-5 against Park Place. The following day, Saturday 1 June, La Dolfina Scone beat Green Gates 14-10, Desert Palm beat Thai Polo Get A Drip 12-7 and Gastone beat Black Bears 11-10 in an extra chukka with Cruz Heguy scoring the winning goal. Yesterday, Sunday 2 June saw Talandracas narrowly beat UAE 13-12 and La Magdeleine beat White Crane 10-8. Ahead of the Quarter Finals on Saturday 8 June and Sunday 9 June, the last of the league matches will be played this week, with teams looking to join the undefeated Dubai who have already secured their spot in the Quarter Finals.
