Mon 13th Oct 202585th Tortugas Open Update Results from the weekend
The second leg of The Argentine Triple Crown – The 85th Tortugas Open – was delayed due to heavy rain. It was due to begin on Tuesday 7 October, but the first matches at the Tortugas Country Club were rescheduled for Friday 10 October.
Eight teams up to 40 goals are taking part in two leagues, which have been decided as per the results of The Hurlingham Open; the winner of each league will move into the Final on Saturday 25 October.
On Friday 10 October Hurlingham Open winners, La Natividad La Dolfina convincingly beat vs Sol de Agosto 22-12 whilst the second match of the day was a much more closely fought with Los Machitos beating La Irenita La Hache 15-14.
The action continued on Saturday 11 October with an 18-12 win for recent Hurlingham Open runners-up UAE Polo vs La Hache Cría & Polo followed by a narrow 16-15 win for Ellerstina Indios Chapaleufu vs La Ensenada.
The Tortugas Open resumes tomorrow, Tuesday 14 October, with Los Machitos vs Sol Agosto and La Natividad La Dolfina vs La Irenita Hache.
