Mon 19th May 2025Aureus Win Justerini & Brooks Prince of Wales Trophy 11-8 victory against Calatagan
The Justerini & Brooks Prince of Wales Trophy opens the English 22 goal season and this year’s tournament saw 12 teams compete. Aureus and Calatagan qualified for the Final which was played at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club on Saturday 17 May. The scores were tied 2-2 after the first chukka and were a sign of things to come as the scores were split by just one goal up until the last chukka. Aureus went into the sixth and final chukka with a narrow 7-6 lead, which the determined Panelo brothers, Tomás and Benjamin, added four more goals onto to secure the title.
