Wed 4th Nov 2026Polo Times October/ November Out Now! The International issue, covering polo from around the world
Our first combined monthly magazine of the year is done and dusted and should have landed on your doorstep. We have compiled all the action from around the world throughout September and October into one jam-packed October/November issue for you to sink your teeth into.
With the polo fields of the UK quiet after a busy summer and the arenas waiting to ramp up, you could be forgiven for thinking the action, unlike the weather, had dried up... not so! We have reports from: all the final Victor Ludorum tournaments of the summer; Singureni Manor in Romania; Finals from Sotogrande; on-the-field tournament coverage from Chantilly, France, plus the beginnings of the Argentine season drama.
And with eyes turning away from the UK, our top players have scattered to exciting and exotic polo destinations around the world. Polodoc has us covered with what to pack in the medical bag for international travel. For those staying home, Lorna Edgar (equine nutritionist) and India Parker-Smith (fitness coach) have plenty of tips on recovering from the season and preparing for winter, for both horses and humans.
Packed with interviews, one of our favorites is Passions with Hazel Jackson, who gives us a unique perspective on what it’s like to be an international polo star who is rarely in one country for more than a month or so.
And a big seasonal favourite, The Polo Times Christmas Gift Guide. We may have only just waded through Halloween, but it’s already time to start planning those Christmas gift lists, and this is the definitive guide to all things festive with a horsey feel. With ideas for Him, Her, the kids and Four-Legged Friends, we have you covered.
Our main interview this issue is with Standing Rock’s Philipp Müller, who takes us through his polo philosophy, offering a peek behind the curtain at what makes the Standing Rock organisation not only different, but also hugely successful.
Don’t miss out! There’s still time to subscribe and receive the latest issue here.
And the best bit? All of this is also available to you in Spanish. Want to read the words of the Argentine pros in their own language? Want to delve into the Argentine action in the native tongue? Check out the Spanish version of our latest issue here.
