Saturday 22 June was a very busy day at Cirencester Park Polo Club, alongside The Warwickshire Cup Final and Subsidiary Finals, The Junior Cavalry Cup Final and WIP 8 Goal, Argentine and English women’s international teams went head-to-head for The Diamond Jubilee Trophy. The home side held a powerful combination of not one but two 10 goal players – Nina Clarkin and Hazel Jackson – backed up by Milly Hine, fresh from her international win in The Buckmaster Trophy at the Gloucestershire Festival of Polo, and Charlotte Pykett, who won in last year’s international at Cirencester Park against USA. Candelaria Fernández Araujo was named Most Valuable Player, V8 Chopper, played by Milly Hine was the Best Playing Pony and Nipper, played by Nina Clarkin, was the RoR Best Playing Pony.
