Mon 2nd Mar 2026The Dutta Corp Take Home Their First C.V Whitney Cup The first Gauntlet of Polo title culminates in exciting Final
While many may have predicted a different result, thanks to the Cambiasos dominance in The Gauntlet of Polo in recent years, it was Timmy Dutta’s side that showed up to the Final determined and with something to prove. Defeating the fearsome La Dolfina Scone side in a thrilling Final, The Dutta Corp took home their first Gauntlet of Polo trophy after a brilliant display of team play over the six chukka game. Having been a stalwart of the roster for many years, The Dutta Corp have started the season as they mean to go on and this win will be a big confidence boost for the young and talented side.
The Dutta Corp came out strong at The National Polo Center in Wellington, Florida, leading from the off and widening the gap as the game progressed to finish half-time with an 8-3 lead. An attempted comeback from La Dolfina Scone in the penultimate chukka saw them pile on the pressure, but The Dutta Corp maintained resolve, outscoring their opponents 2-1 in the last to seal the 14-9 victory and claim the first title of the tournament series.
Dylan Rossiter, who subbed in for Felipe Miguens, took home the Most Valuable Player Award, while his horse Mega Provincia won the Best Playing Pony Award. Best Polo Argentino Bred Award went to Adelina, ridden by Facundo Cruz Llosa and owned by Cría Don Ercole.
